About

Engineered foundations.Crafted by design.

I’m ParengRoz. A licensed civil engineer from the Philippines who cut his teeth on concrete dams and megadikes before transitioning to lead high-end hotel engineering operations in British Columbia.

By day, I keep complex commercial systems operating in peak condition. After hours, the engineering instinct takes over everywhere else: precision 3D printing, custom digital code, curating vintage basketball card collections, and grafting and shaping specimen Japanese maples.

Different materials, same philosophy: understand how it holds together, respect the craftsmanship, and make it better.

Tech & 3D

The Blender workshop

Four lanes of experiments. Each card has a 16:9 video slot ready for a Google Flow clip or an MP4 render, and a shot prompt you can paste into Flow.

Blender Worlds

Hard-surface props, glossy materials and turntables. Modeling, lighting and render passes from blockout to final frame.

Medium shot, 50mm look, slow arc 90 degrees clockwise at chest height. A chrome-and-gold basketball sculpture with a hex-panel surface rotates on a matte black pedestal in a dark studio. Warm 3000K key from camera-left, cyan rim from behind-right through light haze.

Medium close-up, 85mm portrait look, slow dolly-in at eye level. A maker's hands arrange glowing node cards on a dark desk while a laptop screen throws cyan light across the table. Warm lamp from camera-right, cool teal glow from the screen, light haze.

Google Flow Clips

Cinematic shots staged with a start frame and an end frame. One camera move, a named lens and real light per clip.

Flow prompt · Veo

Wide shot, 35mm anamorphic lens with oval bokeh, slow tracking shot from the side at walking pace, camera at hip height. A lone player in a grey hoodie dribbles across an empty indoor court at night, the ball kicking up fine dust off the floor. Sodium-warm 2200K lamps in drifting haze, cool blue fill, wet-polish reflections on the hardwood. 35mm film grain, muted teal-and-amber grade. Ball bounces echoing in a large empty gym.

Shader tests, generative loops, canvas toys and half-finished ideas. The lab bench for anything that does not fit a lane yet.

Close-up, 85mm, slow dolly-in at eye level. A basketball card tilts on a black stand, a holographic rainbow sheen sweeping across its surface. Hard key from camera-left, magenta and cyan rim from behind, a thin thread of smoke catching the beams.

Brotherhood & Roots

Backup Boys

Before the license, the career and the move across an ocean, there was Baliwag, Bulacan, and the friends who grew up alongside me there. We called ourselves the Backup Boys. The crest says it plainly: Since 1992. Bros for life.

Careers branched, cities changed and time zones got in the way, for more than three decades now. The friendship held. Every win on this page has a little of that street in it.

The Engineering Mind

From load paths to building systems

Structures taught me how forces travel. Operations taught me how a whole building behaves day after day.
